For more than 20 years, the Foundation has shared its financial knowledge and resources throughout the North Georgia Conference. From managing investments to providing loans, the Foundation offers an array of services to meet its partners' financial needs. Fundraising Services is an important part of this ministry, providing much-needed expertise for the healthy growth of vital infrastructure and support of active ministry. |

John Riley is a Certified Fund Raising Executive with over a decade of experience in fundraising and donor relations. The son of a United Methodist minister, he combines a wealth of experience in the Church with fundraising expertise. John holds degrees from Emory and Georgia State University and has continued his studies through the Williamsburg Development Institute, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, and the Institute for Charitable Giving. As part of the Emory Advancement staff, John traveled the country building relationships and raising funds to support Emory College and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. After completing his master's degree in non-profit management, he accepted the role of director of development at LaGrange College, where he worked with a talented group of staff and volunteers on the successful $65 Million Defining Moment campaign, an effort which is already changing the face and the future of that United Methodist institution. In leading the Foundation's Fundraising Services, John fulfills his desire to provide the best advice and proven methods to United Methodist churches and agencies of all sizes throughout North Georgia. |
